Q. What does the card look like?

A: The card looks just like a credit card with a graphic image on the front.

Q: How do the cards operate?

A: The Trafford Centre Gift Cards can be purchased for any amount between £5 and £250 from the Customer Services Desk on lower Peel Avenue with cash or all major credit/debit cards. The required amount will be incorporated onto the Gift Card and the amount will be printed onto the presentation sleeve of the Card. The recipient can then spend the amount on the card at any Trafford Centre store/restaurant or leisure unit who accept the card.

Q: How does the recipient know the value on the card?

A: The value will be stated on the presentation sleeve of the card. Customers with a Visa Debit card can check the available balance and recent transactions by visiting www.mycardaccount.info

or calling (low rate) 0808 238 9010 (24 hrs a day).

Customers with a Store Financial card can check their balance by visiting www.getmybalance.com or calling 0121 268 3210.

Customers may also check their balance at the Customer Services Desk during the Centre’s opening hours. You can also check your balance at a number of information pods which are located around the Centre.

Q: What if I have a Trafford Centre Gift Cheque, can this still be accepted? 

A: We would like to inform our customers that we will no longer accept the old Gift Cheques as payment for a Trafford Centre Gift Card from the 1 September 2012.

If you have an old Gift Cheque in your possession, or if you know a relative or friend who has a cheque, please return it to the Customer Services Gift Card kiosk on Lower Peel Avenue in the Trafford Centre before 1 September where it will be exchanged for a Gift Card to the value of the cheque. Trafford Centre Gift Cheques will NOT be accepted after the above date.

Q: Can children use The Trafford Centre Gift Card?

A: Yes, there are no restrictions.

Q: How do I pay for The Trafford Centre Gift Card?

Store Financial is authorised in the UK by the Financial Services Authority and subscribes to The Banking Code.

Q: For how long is the card valid?

A: The Gift Card is valid for two years from the date of purchase.

Q: Can I still use Gift Cheques?

A. Please note that the old Trafford Centre Gift Cheques are no longer accepted within shops, restaurants and leisure venues at The Trafford Centre.

Q: Does the Card include packaging?

A: Yes, you will receive a free Gift Card wallet. Special gift packaging is available at £1 per item.
