Disability Snowsport UK in action

Disability Snowsport UK

Disability Snowsport UK is a nationwide registered charity providing access to snowsports for those with disabilities.

They provide exciting activities for individuals and groups of all ages who require adaptive equipment and specialist instruction and support.

During thirty years in operation, the charity has helped thousands of people with disabilities to access adaptive snowsport, bringing numerous physical and emotional benefits.

Disability Snowsport UK has been based at the Chill Factore in Trafford Quays since the end of 2007, and have found that demand for services has been growing month by month.

The schools and youth programme is especially popular, bringing adaptive snowsport to children and young people who would otherwise be unable to access this exciting sport.

"We are very excited about working with The Trafford Centre, which we hope will enable us to raise our profile, enabling more people with disabilities to access snowsport, and to allow us to provide our services at a cost on a par with that which an able-bodied skier would pay, " said Amy King, of Disability Snowsport UK.
