The Trafford Centre aims to raise £100,000 for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity. So far we've raised over £50,000.
The Appeal aims to raise £20 million to help fund projects within the new hospital. As well as providing parental accommodation within the hospital, it will fund the purchase of advanced equipment to improve diagnosis and treatment of childhood illnesses. Providing healthcare for over 150,000 children annually it opened in June 2009, it is be the largest children's hospital in the UK, and hopefully the best in the world.
With emphasis on the theme 'the extra mile', the charity is the perfect choice for The Trafford Centre which encourages staff to go that extra mile in their every day duties. Look out for a series of fundraising events taking place at the Centre raise money for this worthy cause.

Rossendale Hospice
Rossendale Hospice provides palliative care services at the hospice and in the home for patients with life limiting illnesses. Services are available free of charge to patients, their families and carers. The hospice provides touch therapies, advice, counselling, psychotherapy, an early diagnosis service, support for carers and bereavement services for children.
Monies raised in the fountains will be used to provide a calm, tranquil, relaxing, aesthetically pleasing and healing environment for their patients when the hospice moves to new premises in 2010. Fountain Fund donations will go towards specialist lighting for treatment rooms, curtains and blinds for decoration and the privacy of patients and to equip a quiet room.
